Washington State Vs. Colorado: Cougars Lead 21-7 At Halftime

The Washington St. Cougars are leading 21-7 over the Colorado Buffaloes going into halftime on Saturday afternoon. With quarterback Connor Halliday playing well for the most part, the Cougars have done a nice job of moving the ball against Colorado's defense.

Other than a brutal interception in Colorado territory during the first quarter, Halliday has played quite well for head coach Mike Leach. In the first half, he's completed 17-of-28 passes for 210 yards and three touchdowns, leading Washington State to a two-score lead.

After a Colorado fumble early in the second quarter, Halliday capitalized by throwing his third touchdown of the game. Three different Cougar receivers have over 40 yards receiving each, plus Teondray Caldwell has 52 yards rushing on just three carries.

Jordan Webb has played well for Colorado on Saturday, completing 16-of-21 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown, but he lost a fumble late in the second quarter that may have cost the Buffaloes some much-needed points.
