Breaking Down WSU's New Radio Team

710 ESPN will be the new host for Washington State football basketball this upcoming fall. Bill Moos announced the details of the new arrangement on the radio station on Monday.

Bob Robertson returns for his 46th season as the Cougars' play-by-play while former WSU wide receiver Shawn McWashington and Bud Namek will provide color commentary. Jessamyn McIntyre, 710 ESPN's executive producer of the Kevin Calabro Show, will be the broadcast team's sideline reporter.

In addition to these changes in broadcast personnel, 710 ESPN's Kevin Calabro show will have a weekly segment with Cougar Head Coach Mike Leach.

There will also be two-hour pregame shows and and a one-hour postgame show for football, while Cougar basketball will have 30 minute pregame and postgame shows. 710 ESPN's arrangement with the Cougars squarely rivals Washington's relationship with 950 KJR.

The three-year agreement between WSU and Bonneville Seattle Media group began in the Fall of 2011 and will continue through 2014.
