The Washington St. Cougars are working hard to get their football program back on track. With a new head coach at the helm and a fan base hungry for some wins, Mike Leach and the Cougs are already thinking to the future. According to a story from the Associated Press, WSU and the Idaho Vandals have agreed to a game in 2013.
We have a few more details after the jump.
No games other then the matchup in 2013 have been scheduled, although it seems likely the two schools could come to an agreement in the coming months. The Cougars and Vandals have met 90 times total, with WSU winning 70 of those contests. Idaho won't do a lot for the Cougars in terms of computer numbers, but it's always nice for the fans when two schools from a region of the country meet up in out-of-conference play.
The story also mentions that in addition to Idaho, the Cougars have games lined up with Auburn and BYU for the 2013 season.
