For the first time this season, No. 14 Oregon State will enter a game as the favorite. The Beavers are 13.5-point favorites for their game against Washington State on Saturday after being the underdog in each of their first three games.
OSU is coming off back-to-back Pac-12 road victories and will play just their second home game of the season. Led by Sean Mannion, the Beavers have one of the best passing attacks in the country. OSU enters Saturday's game ranked fourth in the country, averaging 362.7 passing yards per game. Mannion has completed 64.6 percent of his passes this season with six touchdown passes and only one interception.
While the Beavers are rising, the Cougars are heading in the opposite direction, having lost two straight games. After blowing a big lead against Colorado, WSU lost 51-26 to Oregon last week. The Cougars also feature a strong passing attack, averaging 333 yards per game. After starting the three previous games, quarterback Connor Halliday appears in-line to start against Oregon State.
The Beavers defeated WSU 44-21 last season with Mannion tossing four touchdown passes.
