The Washington State Cougars have landed top-100 2013 recruit Ike Iroegbu, according to a tweet from Adam Zagroria.
The 6'0" point guard out of Oak Hill Academy spurned offers from Memphis and Virginia Tech and decided to give the Cougars their first big 2013 recruit on Tuesday.

Iroegbu is said to be an absolute blur on the basketball court and is well renowned in scouting circles for getting quickly past defenders. He tends to rely on his speed to help him penetrate to the hoop and lacks a consistent outside jump needed at the college level. Because of his frenetic pace he is also a bit turnover-prone and will have to learn how to take control of the ball quickly at the college level.
The California native is considered one of the better 2013 guard prospects on the West Coast and possibly the top point guard coming out of California. He transferred to Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va. to work on his game. Guards Rajon Rondo and Brandon Jennings are a couple of famous Oak Hill alums.
