Marshall Lobbestael is out of the game after putting on a passing display as the Washington State Cougars jumped out to a 52-0 lead over UNLV. Lobbestael finished the game with 361 yards and five touchdowns, the last of which came as he found Marquess Wilson in the end zone. Lobbestael filled in quite admirably for WSU starter Jeff Tuel, who is out with a broken collarbone.
The Cougar receivers have been outstanding, led by Wilson's five catches for 102 yards and a touchdown. Jared Karstetter added six catches for 66 yards and two touchdowns, with Isiah Barton adding four catches for 69 yards and a score. Andrei Lintz also caught a touchdown pass.
On the ground, Rickey Galvin picked up 80 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Carl Winston added nine carries for 32 yards, as well. WSU fired on all cylinders, and the stats hammer the point home.
In the fourth quarter, the Cougars are pitching a shutout, leading UNLV 52-0.
