Back in November, Larry Stone headed to Pullman to visit his daughter and take in a Washington State football game. Stone is a Cal alum and the Cougars were playing the Golden Bears, adding extra intrigue to the visit for Stone and a few of his Seattle media coworkers. But Stone made a mistake, agreeing to a bet with Cougar alum Jason Puckett. The two wagered on the point spread of the game, with the loser agreeing to dress head-to-toe in the winning team's apparel.
↵Washington State lost the game but beat the spread and Stone, a man of his word and one of the best writers around, finally paid up on Wednesday. Here's Stone, showing his Cougar pride at Safeco Field (photo courtesy of the Hot Stone League Blog).
↵↵Looking good, Larry.
