Today, the Washington St. Cougars football team begins a potentially bright new era of football as they introduce Mike Leach as their new head coach. Leach will harken in heightened anticipation and expectations for a program that has rarely been considered in the general college football landscape. Leach won all the time at Texas Tech (which many could consider the Washington State of the Big 12), and he'll be expected to do similar things when he starts his stint in the Pac-12. Washington State fans have to be pretty excited at the possibilities now that Leach is here to lead the team to the next level.
