Washington State Vs. Eastern Washington Recap: Cougars Beat Eagles 75-49, Improve To 3-0 At Home

The Washington State Cougars picked up another home win over their cross-state rivals the East Washington Eagles on Saturday night.

The Washington State Cougars hosted the Eastern Washington Eagles on Saturday afternoon, and came away with a win to remain undefeated at home thus far in the young 2011-2012 NCAA season. The final score was 75-49 in favor of Washington State.

The Cougars overwhelmed the Eagles in the first half, outscoring them 41-25. The Eagles were only able to manage an additional 24 points in the second half, and WSU ended up with the easy win.

WSU's Charlie Enquist led all scorers with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Brock Motum and Reggie Moore picked up 15 points each for the Cougars. Dexter Kernich-Drew had 10 points and five rebounds.

Washington State improves to 4-4 overall with the win, while Eastern Washington falls to 4-3 (2-3 on the road). Next up for the Cougars are the Idaho Vandals, who will host WSU on Wednesday, December 7.
