Washington State vs. Oregon Score: Cougars Fall At Home 92-75

The Ducks could not be stopped as they knocked off the Cougars in the Pac-12 opener.

The Washington State Cougars fell to the Oregon Ducks in the first Pac-12 game of the season on Thursday night by a score of 92-75. WSU battled early in the contest, but the Ducks simply had too much firepower and could not be stopped when they had the ball in their possession.

The Cougars were led offensively by DaVonte Lacy, who hit five 3-pointers on his way to 19 points. Reggie Moore struggled from the field shooting 4-for-12, but ended his night with 14 points and four assists. Brock Motum scored 12 points, although he committed four turnovers against the Ducks defense. Reggie Moore was ineffective for most of the night and fouled out in just 26 minutes of play.

Oregon was led by Olu Ashaolu, who scored 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting. Devoe Joseph added 17 points of his own, while E.J. Singler scored 13 points, brought down eight rebounds and dished out four assists.

Next for WSU, they'll host the Oregon St. Beavers on Saturday. The Ducks will head to Washington this weekend for a game that figures to have plenty of scoring.
