The Boise St. Broncos are not only favored by odds makers in their Las Vegas Bowl clash with the Washington Huskies on Saturday, but they are the pick of a majority of college football experts.
Will Harris of ESPN picks the Broncos (10-2, 7-1 Mountain West Conference) to win 17-10, and notes that it is a tough game to predict despite Boise State's steadiness and Washington's tendency to be error-prone.
NBC Sports' John Tamanaha sees the game being a bit less of a defensive struggle than Harris, picking the Broncos to win 30-17 on Saturday. He cites Washington's dismal road record and 18-point collapse against in-state rival Washington State in the final game of the Huskies' season as the impetus for the pick.
Four of CBS Sports' six college football experts tabbed Boise State to walk away with a victory. Dennis Dodd and Tom Fornelli like the Huskies (7-5, 5-4 Pac-12) in an upset.
Kickoff is slated for 12:30 p.m. PT at Sam Boyd Stadium and the game will be televised on ESPN.
