The Nov. 23 Apple Cup between the Washington Huskies and Washington St. Cougars will be televised on Fox, according to Tacoma News Tribune's Todd Dybas.
The Friday game in Pullman, Wash., is scheduled to kick off at 12:30 p.m. PT, and until Wednesday, whether it would be shown on Fox or FX was still up in the air.
The Huskies are currently riding a two-game winning streak into a game with the Utah Utes. After that, UW plays the Colorado Buffaloes in Boulder, Colo., to set up a date with the Cougars in the rivalry game. Sitting at 5-4 on the season, Steve Sarkisian's team could be bowl eligible at that time, and a win against their rivals could determine which bowl game sends an invite.
Meanwhile, the struggling Cougars might only be able to use the Apple Cup as an opportunity to play spoiler. Mike Leach has led WSU to a 2-7 start, and the Cougars have UCLA and Arizona State to play before the rivalry game.
