CBS Sports currently sees the Washington Huskies playing in the Las Vegas Bowl against the Boise State Broncos on Dec. 22, according to their latest projections.
The Las Vegas Bowl is reserved for the fifth best Pac-12 team to play the best team in the Mountain West, but the Huskies will only earn this bowl if Oregon makes the BCS National Championship. If the Ducks slip up in one of their final games against Stanford or Oregon State or in the Pac-12 Championship game, Washington could be heading towards the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl or the New Mexico Bowl instead.
The Pac-12 also might take a hit if the Rose Bowl decides to use the open slot left by Oregon to choose a team like Notre Dame to play in their marquee game.
This is how the rest of the conference's bowl eligible teams are predicted to finish their seasons:
BCS National Championship Game: Oregon vs Kansas State
Alamo Bowl: West Virginia vs. USC
Holiday Bowl: Oregon State vs. Texas Tech
Sun Bowl: Miami vs. UCLA
Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl: Stanford vs. Navy
New Mexico Bowl: Nevada vs. Arizona
Military Bowl: Arizona State vs. La-Lafayette
