The Oregon Ducks kick off the Pac-12 schedule this week with a home game against the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday. Davey O'Brien Award semifinalist Marcus Mariota leads Chip Kelly's squad against a CU team that could be mentally deflated after a 50-6 loss to the USC Trojans last week. And at 7-0, Oregon is simply hoping to get the game out of Colorado's hands early, meanwhile avoiding any significant injury.
Also on the schedule for Saturday is a battle between the Washington State Cougars and the Stanford Cardinal. Mike Leach's team heads to Palo Alto, Calif., still seeking its first Pac-12 victory of the year. An upset would snap a four-game losing streak for the 2-5 Cougars.
Saturday's nightcap on the Pac-12 Network features the Oregon State Beavers visiting the Washington Huskies. Oregon State can keep pace with the Ducks with a win against the Huskies, but Washington is in desperation mode after taking a 52-17 shellacking at Arizona last week to drop its record to 3-4.
Colorado at No. 4 Oregon (3 p.m. ET, Pac-12 Network)
Washington State at No. 17 Stanford (6:15 p.m. ET, Pac-12 Network)
No. 7 Oregon State at Washington (10:15 p.m. ET, Pac-12 Network)
