Washington Football: Jesse Callier, Hau'oli Jamora Out For Season

The Washington Huskies are short on depth at specific positions, and it only got worse today. Percy Allen of the Seattle Times reports that running back Jesse Callier and defensive end Hau'oli Jamora will miss the 2012 season due to knee injuries. Callier is expected to redshirt.

With Callier out, Washington has only Bishop Sankey with any real playing time at the position. The Huskies will have to take a look and see what Erich Wilson II, Willis Wilson and Dezden Petty will be able to do at tailback. Talia Crichton started the season opener and will probably take over for Jamora as the primary starter at defensive end, with Jarett Finau likely next in line.

Right tackle Ben Riva also has a broken bone in his arm and will be out for an extended period of time. James Atoe takes over at right guard with Erik Kohler moving to right tackle.
