The Washington Huskies had a bit of a disappointing season in 2012 despite having plenty of NBA talent on their roster. Two of their better players, Tony Wroten and Terrence Ross, elected to enter their names for the 2012 Draft and are now in the process of working out for potential teams. Most around the league these two will be first round picks, although they have plenty of room to move up draft boards in the coming weeks.
Chad Ford of ESPN recently released a mock draft and has both of UW's stars going in the middle of the first round.
Terrence Ross was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers.
Analysis: The Sixers might have a tough choice here between Ross and Moultrie. The team needs size, but they also need shooting. Ross has very good size for his position and would give the Sixers a starting caliber sniper, which they've long lacked.
Tony Wroten will head to Atlanta to play with the Hawks, according to Ford.
The Hawks have been cursed at the point guard position ever since they decided to pass on Chris Paul to draft Marvin Williams. Wroten is no Paul, but he may have the most raw talent of any point guard in the draft. He's big, he's athletic and he can get to the basket. If his shot wasn't broken, and if he had a better rep as a teammate, he'd be a top-10 pick.
