The Washington Huskies will look for their second straight upset win when they travel to Eugene, Ore., to face the Oregon Ducks on Saturday. Washington got Pac-12 play started off on the right foot when they defeated Stanford at CenturyLink Field on Thursday, and it now sits at 3-1 overall. The Ducks also played at CenturyLink Field last week, using a dominating second half to defeat Washington State, 51-26. Oregon is undefeated and sits at No. 2 in the polls.
The Ducks have won the last eight games over the Huskies in this heated rivalry. The game will be televised at 7:30 p.m. PT on ESPN.
Washington State will try for their first Pac-12 win when they visit the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday. OSU is off to a hot start this season, winning its first three games over Wisconsin, UCLA and Arizona. The Beavers made a late comeback to defeat the Wildcats on Saturday. WSU is still looking to improve under first-year head coach Mike Leach. Many were impressed with the way the Cougars hung with the Ducks in the first half on Saturday before ultimately getting blown out in the final thirty minutes. WSU now sits at 2-3 after two straight losses.
Wazzu won the last time these two teams met in Corvallis, Ore., taking a 31-14 victory in 2010. The Cougs and Beavs kick off at 3 p.m. on the Pac-12 Networks.
