Pac-12 Football Standings 2012: Huskies, Cougars heading in opposite directions

The Washington Huskies and Washington State Cougars are trending two opposite ways through the first two weeks of Pac-12 play.

Pac-12 conference play has only been going on for two weeks now but Washington and Washington State are quickly heading in distinctly different directions.

The Huskies (3-1) are 1-0 in the conference after upsetting Stanford, 17-13, Thursday evening and are one of only four Pac-12 teams who still remain unbeaten in conference play. Oregon and Oregon State have yet to register any type of loss on the season and they both sit above Washington in the North Division with two conference wins each.

The Cougars (2-3) were annihilated, 51-26, by the Ducks on Saturday and have yet to earn a conference win with two games under their belt. Washington State is tied with the 1-4 Cal Golden Bears for the cellar-dwelling position in the North.
