The Washington Huskies and Hawaii Warriors are underway, and the Huskies have already left their mark on the game. Just three plays into the game, the Huskies scored their first touchdown to lead 7-0. They now hold a 14-0 advantage over the Warriors.
Receiver Austin Seferian-Jenkins has already connected with quarterback Keith Price twice, pulling in long passes on each of the game's first two plays. The first was a 30-yard strike that moved the ball from Washington territory to about midfield, and the second was a 47-yard pass that brought the Huskies to the Warriors' two-yard line.
Chris Polk took care of the rest, pounding the ball in on the very next play to give the Huskies a 7-0 advantage. The drive lasted just a minute and ten seconds. This is just the start the Huskies were hoping for.
Washington recovered a fumble on their own five-yard line and put together an 11-play drive to cash in on their second touchdown of the game on a pass from Price to Jermaine Kearse.
Price is taking advantage of the Warriors, and has completed six of six passes for 114 yards and one touchdown.
