NCAA Football 12 Demo Features Apple Cup Matchup Between Washington, Washington State

NCAA Football 12 is tantalizingly close, with a release date set for July 12th, two weeks from Tuesday. For college football fans starved for some kind of action, the game's release is truly Christmas in July every year. And this year, the buildup ahead of NCAA 12's release has certainly whet fans' appetites for the release. From improved gameplay, a dynasty mode that's beefed up and the ability to change conference's around to fit whatever fantasy one has, NCAA Football 12 has plenty of new and exciting features.

Gamespot got its hands on NCAA Football 12 during E3 and chose a familiar matchup to showcase the game. With Washington and Washington State playing the Apple Cup in the background, the boys from Gamespot discussed the details of this year's iteration of the franchise and some of the new features EA Sports.

Environment is a big deal in NCAA Football 12, with custom entrances, mascots and many of the familiar gameday sights you'll see at stadiums and on campuses throughout the country. It's all about making the game feel like real-life and with college football, it's all about the experience of being at the game.

The hands-on demo will be released on Tuesday, tiding fans over until the real release in two weeks.
