Jake Locker Up For EA Sports NCAA Football 12 Cover

Washington fans: Jake Locker needs your help. For the first time in its history, EA Sports is allowing the public to choose which former college athlete will grace the cover of its NCAA Football game. Locker, Nick Fairley, DeMarco Murray and Mark Ingram are all in the running for the NCAA Football '12 cover and it's up to the fans to make the call.

Locker took off to Orlando on Thursday for a quick media tour to promote the competition while building his case. In an interview, posted by The Seattle Times' Bob Condotta, Locker was humble and honored to be nominated.

"I've been playing these games for a long time and to have the opportunity to be on the cover is an honor,'' Locker said this morning. "It's a pretty cool thing to be a part of.''

This is where you come in, Washington fans. Head over to the EA Sports website and give Locker a vote. Spread the word, get friends involved and get a campaign going to put Locker on the cover. You wouldn't want the SEC -- Fairley and Ingram -- or Big 12 -- Murray -- to beat out the Pac-10, would you? I didn't think so.
