After another wild weekend of NCAA Tournament basketball, the 2011 Final Four is set, and filled with plenty of surprises. On one side of the bracket, we have the mid-majors, with one guaranteed to play for the 2011 NCAA Championship. On the other side, the more traditional powers, though how they made it to Houston is anything but traditional. The bracket is just about filled out, and if yours is like mine, there's plenty of red lines throughout.
The latest 2011 NCAA Tournament printable bracket can be found at SB Nation. Wondering how VCU, Butler, Kentucky and UConn made it to the place every college basketball team dreams of? You can find out by checking out the printable bracket. From the First Four to the Final Four, it's all there.
Butler is back again after coming from the dreaded 8/9 seed line, pulling off upset after upset on its way to the Final Four. Meeting the Bulldogs will be VCU, a team nobody expected to make it out of the first weekend alive. The Rams were the poster child for everything the selection committee did wrong, but came out and used the doubters as motivation during a dream March Madness run.
On the other side, two more traditional powerhouses meet in the national semifinals. The Kentucky Wildcats, and their roster filled with NBA-quality talent, were consistent throughout the 2011 NCAA Tournament, surviving scares early in the tournament to advance to the Final Four. UConn, on the other hand, has run the gauntlet, winning nine games in 19 days -- through the Big East Tournament and NCAA Tournament -- to advance to Houston.
The Final Four gets started on April 2 as Butler, VCU, Kentucky and UConn hit the floor in Houston with spots in the National Championship on the line. Catch up with all the weekend's action in our NCAA Tournament results StoryStream.
