Selection Sunday 2011: NCAA Brackets Set To Be Revealed On CBS

It’s just about time for the Selection Sunday festivities to get underway on CBS. Beginning at 3 p.m., the NCAA Tournament bracket will be revealed, piece-by-piece during the NCAA Tournament Selection Show. Which bubble teams are in? Where will Washington and Gonzaga be seeded? Who will be this season’s NCAA Tournament snubs? We’ll find out soon on CBS.

The Washington Huskies are safely in the tournament, projected as a No. 7 seed after winning the Pac-10 Tournament on Saturday. Washington won three games in three days to make its way of the bubble and into the NCAA Tournament field, improving its seeding along the way. The Huskies are gathered together at the Don James Center on the University of Washington campus to watch the drama unfold with the rest of the world.

Gonzaga is also safely in the field after winning the WCC Tournament on Monday, ensuring a 13th consecutive NCAA Tournament bid. The Bulldogs shared the WCC regular season title with St. Mary’s before knocking the Gaels onto the bubble with a win in the WCC championship. Gonzaga is projected as a No. 10 seed in the tournament in what’s been a down year.
