2011 National Signing Day: Announcement Schedule Includes De'Anthony Thomas

Even though many letters are rolling in, there’s a few announcements to keep an eye on if you’re a fan of the Washington Huskies or Washington State Cougars. Among the players choosing where to sign with are Rahmel Dockery, an electric playmaker from Curtis High School, De’Anthony Thomas, one of the top athletes in the class of 2011, and Stephan Nembot, an undecided lineman with loads of potential. They’ll all be announcing throughout the day, and each has at least one of the Northwest schools.

Here’s a schedule with some notable names to keep an eye on.

Rahmel Dockery, athlete from Tacoma, WA: 11 a.m. at Curtis High School. Choosing between Oregon State and Washington State. Dockery is on the small side, but has electric speed can be a game-changer.

Marquise Lee, athlete from California: noon. Lee will choose between Cal, Oregon and USC.

De’Anthony Thomas, athlete from Los Angeles: 5 p.m. at Crenshaw High School. Choosing between USC, Oregon and Washington. Thomas is now, apparently, a heavy Oregon lean.

Stephan Nembot, lineman from Los Angeles: 5:30 p.m. at CBSLA. Choosing between Washington, Washington State and Colorado. Nembot was committed to Washington State, switched to Washington, but visited Colorado this past weeked. It’s anyone’s guess where he ends up.

We’ll be keeping an eye on these recruits as they make their decisions throughout the day. Stay with our national signing day StoryStream for the latest news and information as it becomes available.
