The two gems of the Washington Huskies recruiting class of 2011 are officially in, faxing their Letters of Intent in this morning. Kasen Williams, a five-star wide receiver from Skyline High School, and Austin Seferian-Jenkins, a five-star tight end from Gig Harbor, are both signed, sealed and delivered, as expected.
Seferian-Jenkins was first, faxing his letter in just before 8 a.m. He was also the first big-name to commit to Washington, starting a flood of recruits that included Williams. Seferian-Jenkins already boasts college-ready size and is expected to contribute right away in Montlake.
Williams followed shortly after, getting his letter to head coach Steve Sarkisian at 8:09 a.m. At 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, Williams is a big body at wide receiver, prepared to contribute at the college level immediately. Just last week, Parade Magazine name Williams their player of the year, the top honor bestowed upon a high school senior.
