Alamo Bowl 2011: Baylor Leads Washington 53-49 After 3rd Quarter

Touchdown after touchdown after touchdown. In the third quarter, the Baylor Bear and Washington Huskies scored six touchdowns a piece, with Baylor scoring four of them.

One minute into the second half, Keith Price connected with Jermaine Kearse for an 80-yard touchdown. Baylor then answered with two touchdowns including an 89-yard touchdown run by Terrance Ganaway.

Midway through the third quarter, Price completed a 13-yard pass to Devine Aguilar to finish off a two play 73-yard drive. Baylor again answered with two touchdowns of their own.

After three quarters of play, there has been 102 points scored and 1154 yards gained. Washington's defense has allowed 648 total yards. The school record for yards allowed was 729 yards allowed in a 2003 game against California. Key defensive stops will be the deciding factor in the fourth quarter.
