Alamo Bowl Injury News: Kevin Smith Doubtful With Sprained Knee

Washington Huskies wide receiver and kick returner Kevin Smith is doubtful for Thursday's matchup as announced by head coach Steve Sarkisian in Wednesday's press conference.

Sarkisian also included these other injury tidbits in the presser:

Sarkisian also said that safety Will Shamburger remains doubtful to play with a stinger but that Justin Glenn has gotten healthy and would fill in the depth at free safety, with Nate Fellner expected to get the start. (Via: Seattle Times)

For the Huskies, the most important injury news has to do with quarterback Keith Price. Price will have fresh legs and knees for the Alamo Bowl according to Sarkisian:

Well, probably the best he's been since the beginning of the season, since the initial ‑‑ when he injured his first knee there early in the season there, I think it just ‑‑ from a movement standpoint he feels good, and I think from a movement standpoint it makes him psychologically feel good, too.
