The UCLA Bruins are trying their best to upgrade their staff now that Jim Mora is their head coach. They'll be using two Washington Huskies to get the team back in the right direction in Marques Tuiasosopo and Demetrice Martin.
The title above isn't totally correct. Tuiasosopo was already in Westwood, having left the year before to join Rick Neuheisel in Westwood. Now that Neuheisel is gone, Tuiasosopo will move up to coach the quarterbacks in the bowl game, then coach the tight ends in the Mora era.
Demetrice Martin is also headed back to UCLA. The Washington defensive backs coach will be doing the same thing with the Bruins to try and get UCLA's pass defense moving back in the right direction.
There's a lot of work for Mora to do, but these two hires seem to be positive steps.
To discuss the upgrade of Tuiasosopo and the hiring of Martin with fans of either team, head to UW Dawg Pound (Washington) or Bruins Nation (UCLA).
