Washington Vs. Oregon State Final Score: Beavers Top Huskies 38-21

Oregon State (3-8, 3-5 Pac-12)  ended a three-game losing streak behind a balanced offensive attack led by quarterback Sean Mannion. The Beavers beat the Washington Huskies 38-21 on Saturday afternoon in Corvallis, Oregon.

Washington (6-5, 4-4) started redshirt freshman Nick Montana at the quarterback position, but later deferred to regular starter Keith Price in the fourth quarter. Head Coach Steve Sarkisian decided to start Montana due to Price's fragile state, hoping to help him fully recover for next weekend's Apple Cup.

Down 31-14 with under eight minutes remaining in the game, Keith Price connected with Devin Aguilar for a 20-yard strike on 4th-and-9.

Now within ten points, backup running back Jessie Callier came up with a big hit, causing an Oregon St. fumble on the subsequent kickoff, giving the Huskies the football at the Beavers' 17 yard line. Unfortunately, on the next play, Price threw an interception and the Beavers didn't look back after that.

The Beavers received a solid performance from Mannion. He was 26-37 on the game with 339 passing yards and two touchdowns. Running back Jovan Stevenson also found the end zone on three different occasions for Oregon St.

Oregon St. led 17-14 at halftime and kept that lead going into the fourth quarter, but a 21-7 fourth quarter gave the Beavers their first win since October 22nd.

Besides two touchdown completions to Austin Seferian-Jenkins in the first half, Montana struggled to find his other receivers throughout the game. He finished with 79 passing yards on 11 completions in 21 attempts. In Price's fourth quarter drive, he completed five of nine passes for 76 yards.
