There was a fun piece of trivia in this week's college football rankings that has nothing to do with Seattle on the surface. The note has to do with the AP Poll, and Texas Tech's rise and fall over the past three weeks.
↵↵↵Cool note AP poll note: Texas Tech is 2nd team since '89 (when it became Top 25), to go from no votes to ranked to no votes in three weeks.
↵
On its own, this note isn't related to Seattle. But there's a second part to this equation!
↵↵↵Other team to do no votes, ranked, no votes move was Washington in Sept. 2009 when it beat USC, then followed up with loss to Stanford.

Ah, that's right! I remember that one! So the Huskies are no longer by themselves in this fun bit of trivia. And after the Red Raiders' performance this weekend -- Texas Tech lost to Iowa State at home by a 41-7 margin -- it's only right they weren't ranked. And now the Huskies have company.
