Jake Locker Leaves Game After Blow To The Head

University of Washington quarterback Jake Locker took a knee to the helmet early in the fourth quarter of the Huskies game against the University of Southern California Trojans on Saturday in California.

After the hit, Locker returned to his feet, experienced dizziness and fell back to the turf. He then laid on the field for a number of minutes before walking off the field under his own power. Washington inserted backup quarterback Keith Price into the game and he threw a touchdown pass on the ensuing play.

ESPN2’s announcing team noted that Locker will be tested for a possible concussion.

USC was up 28-23 when Locker left with the injury.
