Seattle Storm Vs. Chicago Sky Halftime Score: Hot Shooting Helps Storm Take 41-33 Lead

The Seattle Storm got off to a hot start against the Chicago Sky to take a 41-33 lead playing without 6-foot-6 center Lauren Jackson, who is resting before the start of the 2011 WNBA Playoffs.

The Storm shot 62.5 percent in the first half with point guard Sue Bird scoring 10 points on 4-for-4 shooting and dishing out two assists. But in addition to tying Bird with a team-high 10 points, forward Camille Little had a game-high three assists and tied a game-high with five rebounds.

However, the Storm were slowed in the second quarter by familiar turnovers: looking out of sync and simply making poor reads.

Chicago was led by center Sylvia Fowles who had eight points, but the Sky lived on hot 3-point shooting in the second quarter, hitting 4-of-6 in the second quarter. Kent native Courtney Vandersloot scored three points in the first half of her KeyArena debut.
