Drew Carey is a minority owner of the Seattle Sounders. The comedian recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about his life, career and, of course, the Sounders. He even compared himself to Magic Johnson as the celebrity face to accompany ownership of the club.
He also called himself a "fan with benefits", which is something I feel just about everyone would like to experience with their favorite team.
We have a video of Carey appearing on the late night talk show after the jump...
Pretty cool.
As an outsider to the club, I personally think the idea of the fans having the right to change general managers every few years is a great one. Far too often do we see a club brought crashing down by poor management decisions, and Carey's idea to incorporate this with the Sounders is a really good idea.
