Seattle Sounders Vs. DC United: Lineups And Analysis

The Sounders start as close to a regular lineup as possible given the circumstances, though the Sigi Schmid's decision to start Zach Scott over Pat Ianni is something of a surprise, likely motivated by the danger posed by DC United in the counter-attacking phase and Scott's peerless man-marking abilities.

The big surprise where DCU is concerned is Joe Willis appearing in goal over US International Bill Hamid; that's something the Sounders are likely to look to exploit.
