DC United Vs. Seattle Sounders: Lineups-Sounders Unchanged From Saturday's Win Over Toronto, Najar Starts For DC

The Sounders will apparently be sticking with the plan that brought them so much success against Toronto FC as Mauro Rosales is once again not in tonight's starting lineup. DC United meanwhile will start Andy Najar in wide midfield; the battle between Seattle's full backs and United's wingers will be one to watch. It's a bit of a surprise to see Jhon Kennedy Hurtado starting on short rest; could this be a sign that Sigi Schmid thinks the center back is at 100%, or is the threat of Charlie Davies large enough that he is willing to divert from the plan? In any case, a rare defensive substitution might be in the cards.

DC United Starting XI:

Hamid; Kitchen, White, Jakovic, Woolard; Najar, Simms, McCarty, Pontius; Wolff, Davies

Subs: Brettschneider, Ngwenya, Fred, Quaranta, King, Korb, Cronin

Seattle Sounders Starting XI:

Keller; Wahl, Hurtado, Ianni, Riley; Fernandez, Alonso, Friberg, Evans; Montero, Jaqua

Subs: (Will update when information is available.)
