The Seattle Sounders picked up their first win of the season on Saturday, downing the Chicago Fire at Qwest Field, 2-1. But it was forward O'Brian White that stole the show early, hammering home a beautiful header from just inside the 18 to put the Sounders ahead just six minutes into the game. Between two defenders, White found an inch of space, burying a cross from Mauro Rosale and freezing the goalkeeper in the process.
↵It was a jaw-dropping display and an excellent goal for White, who's been on a bit of a tear lately, scoring a goal against the San Jose Earthquakes, burying the aforementioned and assisting on Steve Zakuani's go-ahead goal. The latter two are show below in the highlight video from Saturday's match.
↵↵White's header is up for the MLS Goal of the Week, as well. You can vote for it here.
