We already know Seattle Sounders' winger Steve Zakuani can burn defenders with his speed and deceptiveness. Zakuani was a load for opposing defenses on the outside, using his quickness off the dribble to run by players and his fancy footwork to run around them. But what about his shot? He speed allows him to put the defense out of position and set his teammates up, but Zakuani also took on a scoring role as his time in Seattle progressed. Zakuani put that shot on full display at training yesterday, smashing a shot past keeper Terry Boss.
↵The Sounders did a cool thing with the shot -- a circumstance of being in the right place at the right time. Here's Zakuani striking a laser-shot, all shown in the beauty of slo-mo.

The Sounders are back in action, training around the area before heading to Arizona on Sunday for a more rigorous two week training session. Zakuani, Fredy Montero, Osvaldo Alonso and more are all back, with big goals in mind for the 2010 season.
