Seahawks Vs. Cardinals: Game Time, TV Schedule, Injury Updates And More

The Seattle Seahawks will open their 2012 season on the road when they travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals.

Rookie quarterback Russell Wilson will make his first regular season start for the Seahawks. Wilson completed 63.5 percent of his passes during the preseason and will now attempt to carry that success into the regular season. The rookie from Wisconsin beat out Matt Flynn for the starting job during training camp.

Whether or not Wilson will be able to hand the ball off to Marshawn Lynch remains unknown. Lynch, who is dealing with back spasms, is listed as questionable for the season opener. He did, however, participate in practice on both Thursday and Friday.

While it's still unknown if Lynch will play, Seattle will for sure be without Golden Tate, Greg Scruggs and James Carpenter. All three players were listed as "Out" on Friday's injury report. With Tate out, Braylon Edwards will start at wide receiver for the Seahawks.

Sunday's game is scheduled to begin at 1:25 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on FOX. Seattle enters the game as 1-point underdogs, according to OddsShark.com.
