The Seattle Seahawks begin the 2012 regular season as they take on the Arizona Cardinals in University of Pheonix Stadium on Sunday at 1:25 p.m. PT. The Seahawks opened as favorites against Arizona, with the line moving even further in their favor as the week has progressed.

Vegas had the Seahawks at -1.5 to start, but that has since moved to -3.0.

Opening as favorites on the road may seem strange for a team that went just 3-5 away from CenturyLink Field in 2011, but it may say more about the current state of the Cardinals than the Seahawks.

Arizona had a lot of uncertainty around its quarterback position during the preseason until finally naming John Skelton as the Week 1 starter after the last preseason game. The Cardinals went 1-4 in the preseason and 0-5 against the spread,

Conversely, the Seahawks went 4-0 in the preseason and 4-0 against the spread.

The over/under for the game is at 41 total points. The last five times the Seahawks and Cardinals have met in Arizona they have went over the total.

This will be the second-straight game for the two teams in Glendale. They faced off in the 2011 finale, with the Cardinals prevailing 23-20 in overtime.
