When the Seahawks signed Sidney Rice to a big free agent contract prior to the 2011 season, they did so thinking he would be their No. 1 wide receiver. When healthy, Rice filled that role in 2011, but with injury concerns persisting in 2012, no one is quite sure what to expect of Rice. The same can be said of fantasy football owners and with draft season beginning, it's Doug Baldwin, not Rice who is Seattle's top ranked fantasy wide receiver.

Fake Teams, SB Nation's fantasy sports site, released their 2012 fantasy wide receiver rankings recently and Baldwin is the top rated Seahawk, coming in at No. 45. An impressive ranking for the second-year wide receiver who last season was just trying to make the 53-man roster as an undrafted free agent.

Baldwin is 25 spots ahead of Rice who checks in at No. 70. Injuries are the major reason for the low ranking as Fake Teams says Rice would be much higher without such serious injury concerns. In addition to being behind Baldwin, Rice is also behind Golden Tate who is No. 64 on Fake Teams rankings. Tate is projected to produce as a WR3 in 2012.
