According to a report form NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal, the tightly-fought battle for the quarterback position for the Tennessee Titans os one of the best in all of football, and may be decided much sooner than later, as it is being reported that Hasselbeck will likely trump the youngster for hte starting role down in Nashville.

Here is Rosenthal with more:

Titans coach Mike Munchak has called it an even competition all offseason. The snaps are split up 50-50. Yet no one around the Titans thinks Locker will win despite his draft pedigree and impressive spot play last offseason.

David Climer of the Tennessean wrote Wednesday that rumors of a true battle have been "exaggerated."

"I suspect Hasselbeck is solidly ahead of Locker entering the final minicamp sessions," Climer writes, later simply stating that Hasselbeck "is the quarterback."

Well that settles that. Or does it? Still some time to change somebody's mind for both Hasselbeck and Locker.
