There are a lot of talented young players out there, but not many of them begin to tap into their talent until they pass the age of 25. The ones that do are the exceptions, but they are notable, and could promise to have very impressive careers down the road.
Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com filed this report of the top 10 under-25 NFL players, and Seattle Seahawks 23 year old free safety Earl Thomas managed to make the list; he wasn't top ten, but he did receive honorable mention.
Thomas really made the Seahawks a better football team in 2012, as their defense emerged as a pretty solid squad.
Thomas is rangy, fast, instinctive, and made the Pro Bowl for his efforts. Thomas is really underrated on blitzing and sneaking behind the line of scrimmage. The Seahawks improved drastically this year on giving up passing plays of 20+ yards or more, largely because of Thomas.
