With the 11th pick of the 4th round in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks have selected Robert Turbin, a running back from the Utah St. Aggies. Turbin is the second player from the Aggies selected by the team this weekend, joining linebacker Bobby Wagner in Seattle. As a junior in 2011, Turbin rushed for 1,517 yards and an impressive 19 touchdowns on a team that reached a bowl game.
Here is more on Turbin from Sports Illustrated.
Turbin is a terrific story as a person who overcame much to become a tremendous college running back. He's a big-bodied ballcarrier who would do well in a power running system yet is a bit one-dimensional in his game.
The Seahawks' next pick is the 19th selection of the 4th round, 114th overall. Head over to NFL.com to track every pick as the Draft moves on.
