With the 47th pick of the 2nd round in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks have selected Bobby Wagner, an inside linebacker from Utah State. The Seahawks originally had the 43rd pick in the round but they traded down with the Jets, acquiring their second round pick along with a fifth and seventh round selection.

Wagner was a bit under-the-radar and most had him going in the third round, but he shined at the Senior Bowl and really helped his draft stock during interviews and workouts.

Here is more on Wagner from Sports Illustrated.

Wagner was a productive tackling machine for Utah State and has the ability to line-up in a variety of NFL defensive systems. He plays smart, tough football and should quickly break into a starting lineup at the next level.

The Seahawks' next pick is the 12th selection of the 3rd round, 7th overall. Head over to NFL.com to track every pick as the Draft moves on.
