NFL Films' Greg Cosell put up his first mock draft and presented it a way only Cosell would. More personable and much longer than most mocks, Cosell brings his own perspective to what has become a mad dash for football people to nail down their picks before the draft finally commences.
Cosell has the Seattle Seahawks taking South Carolina DE Melvin Ingram. This is what Cosell had to say about the pick.
The most intriguing front-7 player comes off the board to the Seahawks. Melvin Ingram is remarkably athletic for his body type (6'1 ½, 264 pounds at the Combine). He aligned all over the South Carolina defense: DE, DT, LB. He was the movable chess piece looking for matchups to exploit. At times he moved like a running back with his lateral agility and nimble feet. Don't overreact when I say this, but his spin move is reminiscent of Dwight Freeney. He had that kind of explosive quickness.
Cosell is clearly high on Ingram so we'll see if the Seahawks heed to his words and snag Ingram if he's still on the board at this spot.
