It's nice to change it up a bit with your NFL mock drafts, trying to have some fun with them from time to time. And with the release of SB Nation's latest blogger mock, they've done just that, having each NFL blog make the pick for their respective team. And though these folks have fun putting these together, you best believe the picks are deadly serious.
Here is the Seahawks blog Field Gulls and their choice for Seattle's No. 12 overall pick, linebacker Courtney Upshaw out of the University of Alabama:
Seattle's priority in round one has to be improving the team's outside pass rush, as it currently relies too much on Chris Clemons. Pete Carroll will be looking for someone who can fit as a DE/OLB hybrid, get to the quarterback and provide solid run support. Courtney Upshaw played the exact same role for Alabama and in many ways is ideal for the Seahawks. Don't be surprised if they make him the 12th overall pick.
The guys over at Field Gulls really know what they are talking about, you should trust their judgement on these kind of things.
