The new league year begins in less than a week as NFL free agency officially opens on March 13. Each team will attempt to re-sign their top free agents until that day comes, but a few free agents will inevitably wiggle away and showcase their skills for a new team in a new city in 2012. For the Seattle Seahawks, not that they've re-signed running back Marshawn Lynch, their top free agent is defensive tackle Red Bryant. On CBSSports.com's Pete Prisco's top-30 free agents list, Bryant comes in at No. 5.
5. Red Bryant, DT, Seattle Seahawks -- He had eight starts in his first three seasons, but started 16 in 2011 and was a force on the Seattle defense. Watching tape on him is impressive. He plays hard.
The Seahawks have reportedly extended Bryant a "very strong" offer for the future, but it seems that he is destined to test the market when free agency opens.
