Todd McShay Mock Draft: Seahawks Select Luke Kuechly, ILB, Boston College

The Seattle Seahawks have a number of different paths they could travel with their first round pick in the 2012 NFL draft, but according to ESPN's Todd McShay and his latest mock draft, the Seahawks would selected inside linebacker Luke Kuechly out of Boston College.

Per McShay on ESPN:

Linebacker is among the Seahawks' top needs, and Kuechly would immediately improve Seattle's linebacker corps with his instincts, consistency, production and leadership.

Keuchly was a consensus All-American in 2011, worked his way to a 22 game streak of at least 10 tackles (longest in the nation), and was the fastest player in Boston College history to record 200 tackles. The dude has an unstoppable motor, and would be a terrific addition to Pete Carroll's squad. Hopefully he's still around when the 12th pick comes along, for he may be highly touted by other teams before them.
