The Peyton Manning saga may be nearing an end, according to league sources and a report. While most believe the finalists to land No. 18 are the Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos, Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers, anything could happen over the weekend as teams a last-minute attempt to lure the Hall of Famer to their franchise. There is, of course, always the chance that Manning prolongs his search, but that seems like a pretty uncharacteristic thing for him to do.

It seems like most folks are with the belief that the Broncos and Titans are the two teams to beat, but the 49ers have emerged in the last day and the Seahawks appear to be the dark horse in all of this. No one is talking about them, but they provide Manning with just about everything he is looking for.
