NFL Mock Draft 2012: Fletcher Cox Selected By Seahawks In Three-Round Mock

It's not too often you see a mock draft that goes all the way to the third round. Draft Breakdown decided to give it a shot and presented the Seattle Seahawks with some interesting options in the 2012 NFL Draft.

With the 12th overall pick in the draft, they have the Seahawks selecting Mississippi State DE Fletcher Cox.

In an ideal scenario, the Seahawks will be sitting here with their quarterback situation figured out in late April...Here they opt to add defensive line help in the versatile, athletic Fletcher Cox. A rare athlete for his size, Cox is capable of playing running downs at left end and moving inside to rush the passer on third down. Were the Seahawks really feeling the pressure, they may explore trade options in attempt to land Oklahoma State’s Brandon Weeden.

In the second round, they have Seattle going quarterback and taking Oklahoma State's Brandon Weeden.

After missing out earlier, the Seahawks make a move here to secure their quarterback of the future. Weeden may be 28 years old, but he has the ability to start in Seattle some time during his rookie season.

Finally in the third round, they see Seattle taking Vinny Curry, a defensive end from Marshall.
